All of my fiscal support grants go towards tuition, and some loan dollars goes towards tuition as well. I'm trying preserve my student loans as reduced as possible, so I never take a refund. I purchase my textbooks from discount websites and just pay with money I've earned, the same goes with college expenses. Sometimes cash is tight, but I just look for the best prices before I purchase. Right before school starts in August, you will discover amazing sales on computers and all college supplies - stock up for the year then. Look for good sales on used computers as well. My school sells a portion of it's computers each and every two many years for a cheap price and I was capable to have one last year (and it works wonderfully!).
